An eventful weekend!

Whew! We have been crazy busy all weekend and it has been great!

We shopped, played, ate, celebrated Easter and Ava's birthday, ate some more, went to church together, played games, and just spent the weekend loving each other.

Saturday was especially great because Lucia was sealed to Jason, Cat and Ava. It was so wonderful to be sitting in the temple together as a family. Before the sealing, I was really thinking about my dad, how he was going to be missing something that was so important. I was sitting next to my mom wishing that Dad was there. As soon as the girls came into the room, I immediately felt his presence and knew that he was there with us, even if we couldn't physically see him. Now I feel a little bit silly that I was worried he would miss it, if I had thought about it, I would have known that there was no way he wouldn't have been there with us on such an important day!

Sunday we went to Gladstone Ward to hear Kasey give his homecoming talk. He returned from his mission in Argentina almost two weeks ago. Kenny also spoke, so that was fun. The best part was seeing all my old friends and fmaily in Gladstone Ward. I got to give several of them hugs and it was so neat to see them. I had forgotten that Karen and Ivone Ratumaiyale were in that ward now, as well as Macy and her hubby Marco. They are such dear friends and we rarely see them. I missed giving Karen a hug, she had to go teach her Primary class, but I gave Ivone an extra big one so that he could share.

I was hoping to arrange these pictures throughout my writing, but apparently I am not that talented, lol! That's ok, you still get to see them!!
