Uh...whoopsie!

Just got home from my doctor's appointment. Everything is great, but I had a big surprise when I stepped on the scale. I gained 6 pounds in 2.5 weeks! Holy cow! That's more than I've gained the rest of the entire pregnancy combined! I knew that I have been more hungry lately, guess some of my food choices haven't been the greatest. Doc didn't say anything, but I am still surprised. From here on out, I'm committing to trying to make wiser choices!!!

ONE MONTH!

Never mind me...just doing a happy dance! Only one more month, 30 days! Yay yay yay yay! I can't wait to get this baby out of me and hold her! :)

Playlist

So, I am working on my playlist to take to the hospital with me. So far I have some Enya and my favorite Sting songs in there. I'm planning on adding Paul Cardell's Primary Worship CD (it is heavenly). Anyone have any other suggestions for me? I just enjoy having the soothing, calming music playing in the background while I am recovering from surgery. It helps me relax and get through the pain of everything (walking, breathing, coughing, nursing, etc).

Is it too early?

So, Miss Ladybug will be here exactly 5 weeks from tomorrow. I am DYING to get out the cradle and swing and such. Is it too early? Probably, huh? Maybe I'll wait until the beginning of May. Then preschool will be done and I won't be as busy. What I know I should be doing is cleaning up around here before I get out more stuff, lol. But playing with baby clothes and furniture is way more fun than organizing and cleaning!
Speaking of furniture, the girls finally got bunk beds. Poor Becka has been wanting bunks since she first saw them at her friends' house when she was 2. Now that she's 11, they aren't as exciting. :) The old beds are still in there, so their room is a disaster. We are planning on getting them onto Craig's List asap and getting them out of here. I will take pictures after we do that, so that you don't have to see the crazy mess! :)

Have you seen this website? www.rufflebutts.com. I don't think there could be anything cuter! I'm gonna have to get a job just so I can buy a couple of these adorable diaper covers for Ladybug!

As is our "tradition," we spent the last few days of spring break at Grandma and Grandpa's beach house. This year my mom and brother's family came along. The weather was awful...pouring and so windy, but we still had a lot of fun! Our family went on Thursday, Nana and the others came on Friday. We enjoyed playing games, tried to geo-cache (it was too icky out), visited shops, watchd tv and just enjoyed hanging out. Sunday was Easter and the kids really had fun hunting for their baskets and looking for eggs in a new place.

We found out that Catalina and Jason are expecting a new baby in October. I can't believe how long they waited to tell us! I'm excited because that means I get three new nieces/nephews to love and cuddle this year, in addition to our own little Ladybug. You've all seen sweet Mister Lukas, and Dana and Derek are expecting in November. I love babies!

We had a last minute, unplanned quickie photo shoot with Lukas, Brandon and Afton a couple weekends ago at Grandma's house. The lighting wasn't great and I didn't have all my props, but he's such a cutie, we got a few good ones. I can't wait to get my hands on him again for a real photo session! Here are a few for you to peek at and ohh and ahh over! I love the one of him and Mommy. Afton is my hero, she has a c-section and bounces back like it was a walk in the park. I'm a much bigger wimp!
