Best birthday ever!

I had the best Birthday weekend ever!
On Friday, Steve got to stay home from work because he had already maxed out his hours and they aren't allowing overtime right now.  We got to spend the whole day together!  Not just at home, but out having fun!  We ran errands, had lunch, saw a movie, came home to hang out with the kids for a bit, and then had a late dinner at a fancy restaurant called Ruth's Chris Steakhouse.  March is "Portland Dining Month" and they had a great special.
On Saturday, I took Rachel shopping for some new clothes.  She is growing too tall for most of her shirts and dresses.  We had lots of fun! We then met Steve, Jake and Hannah and ate lunch together.  After that, we just hung around the house.
Yesterday was my actual birthday.  I am the Primary chorister at church, so I did a Birthday party with the kids.  We learned a new birthday song, and played a fun game while wearing party hats and I gave them all a cute Birthday lollipop with a note thanking them for making my bday sweet.  SO many of the kids gave me hugs and wished me a happy birthday!  They were so sweet!  Two of them (a cute brother and sister) even made me cards!  :)  After church, Angie called and gave me some awesome news that their family is moving to Nampa, ID this summer (they have been in Alaska)!  I am so ecited that they will be closer!!! After that, we went to Mom's house where we ate yummy Cafe Rio salad for dinner and had Rainbow chip (my fav) cake and ice cream.  We also played games and went for a walk around her property.  We got to Facetime with Catalina and the girls, and they (except Ava :( ) are coming to town tomorrow!
The only thing that could have made it better was if my Becka could have been here.  She did text and wish me a happy bday.  I get to see my Ard side of the family next week when we go visit Steve's parents house.  :)
Turning 42 wasn't so bad!  I felt loved and appreciated and so happy!
