It figures!

Guess who got sick this weekend???? Me. Of course! I had plans to get all of the YW auction stuff done with Becka, actually go grocery shopping so that we had some food in the house, clean a bit, hang out with Dana and Derek and their girls. UGH!!!! I usually just ignore it when I'm sick and push through. This time I was down. I couldn't take any meds since I am nursing Ladybug, so I was miserable. I got up to feed her, help the kids when I had to, etc, but other than that, I was in my bed. I'm thankful that it was a weekend. Steve took Jake to both of his soccer games on Saturday and fed the kids, etc so I could rest as much as possible. My mom took Rachel all day Sunday for me so that I could send the big kids to church and only have Hannah to worry about for most of the day. Yesterday I was starting to feel better, but I overdid it, running around, trying to clean up (my house was awful!) and ended up in bed early with a bad headache. Today I finally feel like I'm on the mend. My voice is scratchy and hoarse, but I'm not all stuffy headed/achy/feverish anymore. I have been coughing a bit, especially at night. Everyone I know who has had this ick ends up with a yucky cough for a couple of weeks afterward. I'm hoping hoping hoping that I don't get that part.
So now I'm almost on freak out mode. This YW fundraiser is making me lose my mind. I'm getting things done slowly, but I wish I could just get it all over with fast, so I can look forward to my bday!!
