Yesterday all the 1st graders got to go to a Green Eggs and Ham breakfast! They each invited one guest. The school made a big deal out of not allowing younger siblings to be there, so I was afraid that Jake wouldn't be able to have anyone there with him. I couldn't find anyone to watch Rachel. Steve went into work late just so that I could go! What a nice guy!!!
Anyway, it was cute. The kids all got "Cat in the Hat" hats to wear, and sang songs about Dr. Seuss. The breakfast was catered by a local restaurant and sponsored by a few other places. We ate our green eggs and ham, orange juice, apples and fruit roll ups (Jake ate mine).

I don;t know if I would be brave enough to put that is my mouth, just the thought and look of green eggs scares me..haha
But it looks like it was fun for you guys and I am sure Jake really enjoyed having you there. Steven is awesome for staying with Rachel so that you could have some "Mommy & Son time"
